It’s Yours to Tell
I love my evening ritual – a steaming cup of coffee and some quality time scrolling through the socials.
A post stops me, I feel it’s message in my chest and I wipe a tear before sharing this beautiful thing with my DM-besties.
I’m intentional about what I consume. I carefully curate my feed, training the algorithm to serve up exactly what inspires me.
Because great content sparks something. It’s like a creative domino effect – whether it’s crafting ideas for my kids, trying an amazing recipe, or pondering a new idea.
In short, good content fuels great ideas.
And never before have we had so much information to consume. Today, your phone unlocks more information than a university library card did 30 years ago.
But this creates a problem for you.
While some people (and yes, AI too) are flooding our feeds with pretty average content, amazing people like you – with real stories and valuable insights – are sitting quietly on the sidelines.

Maybe…
- Drafting that first blog post makes you crawl back under your duvet and hide.
- Creating a post on social media fills you with a fear of being judged and continue only consuming
- Even the thought of talking about your passion with real people triggers imposter syndrome so you keep in all inside
Am I suggesting you buy a ring light and a podcasting mic? Maybe, but before we get there let me first say this…
I get it
Not everyone wants their face all over the internet and most people have no idea what to talk about
So what if I told you 3 important truths…
- Your journey, your knowledge, your experiences are gold to someone walking a similar path.
- Forget about “going viral” – focus on your circle. Whether it’s online or in person, and whether it’s your 3 children or your 5000 followers.
- Sharing isn’t about fame, likes and vanity – it’s about service to the people who need your help.
**You should be feeling at least a little inspired at this point**
If you are, the good news is that’s all you need to start!
Here’s a quick start guide to finding your voice:
- Step 1: Spot Your Circle Where do people already look to you? Maybe you’re leading at work, coaching a sports team, or building an online community?
- Step 2: Know Your Strengths What experience or expertise do you bring to the table?
- Step 3: Follow Your Heart Which problems light a fire in you? What change do you want to see?
The sweet spot is where these three overlap. That’s your starting point!
Then, the real challenge – not keeping this to yourself.
If you need help, I’ve created a guide for you to download. I am passionate about helping people show up as themselves in the world, and I have become pretty good at it!
